Drexel University One Drexel Plaza
Challenge
When Drexel University needed additional classrooms on a tight budget and ready for students in 3 months, they reached out to Jackie Sweeney to provide assistance. Due to the increasing enrollment, Drexel found themselves short on classroom space for the 2011-2012 academic school year. To solve the problem, Drexel programmed space at One Drexel Plaza for 5 new classrooms complete with audio visual accommodations, staff lounge, and student gathering spaces to be built and ready for students by the start of classes in September.
Solution
From a schematic plan, Jackie put together a project budget, schedule and a plan to get the project built and still meet the University’s procurement requirements within the allotted time frame. The project was completed in record time and on budget.
+Jackie’s understanding of the various delivery methods provided the framework we needed to get the job done within the budget and schedule demands. She was an invaluable supplement to my team.
