Project Overview

All of the non-court related government offices that were not located at the Government Services Center on Westtown Road were to be housed in newly constructed leased space located at 313 West Market Street, across from the Justice Center. These departments included the Commissioners, the County Controller, the County Treasurer, the Finance Department, the County Recorder of Deeds, the Tax Assessment Bureau, the County Solicitor’s office and the Purchasing, Facilities and Computer and Information Services departments. Departments were relocated over two weekends to avoid any interruption to public services.
